WENT TO WHOLE FOODS YESTERDAY

I WATCHED OPRAH THURSDAY ABOUT FOOD INC AND THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND HOW THEY ARE PUTTING ALL KINDS OF CHEMICALS IN OUR FOOD THAT ARE BAD FOR US. THE THING THAT GOT MY ATTENTION WAS THE WAY THIS FARM'S LIVING CONDITIONS FOR THESE CHICKENS. AND THIS IS WHAT I SAW WHEN I LOOK AT SOME ALOT OF AMERICANS. THESE BIRDS WERE SO FAT THEY JUST LAID THERE WHILE FARMERS INJECTED THEM WITH ALL KINDS OF STUFF TO MAKE THEM FATTER. NO WONDER WHY AMERICANS ARE SO FAT. LOOK AT WHAT GOES IN THE FOOD. AND ALL THE ANIMALS THAT WE EAT ARE BEING MASSED PRODUCED TO BECOME BIGGER AND FATTER FASTER AND FASTER. SO WHEN I SAW THAT I SAID ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH. AND THEN ALICIA SILVERSTONE CAME ON AND TALKED ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL HER BODY AND SKIN WAS FROM CHANGING THE WAY SHE ATE. AND WHAT MADE ME WANT TO CHANGE WAS THE WAY SHE EMPHASIZED THAT WE CAN START SLOWLY AND MAKE LITTLE CHANGES ON GOING ORGANIC. SO AFTER THAT SHOW I WAS DETERMINED TO CHANGE THE WAY MY FAMILY EATS. MY HUBBY AND I WERE JUST ABOUT TO GO ON WEIGHT WATCHERS TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS. NO WONDER WE HAVE MORE WEIGHT THAN WE WOULD LIKE TO. WE EAT SO HORRIBLY. AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE TO CHANGE EVERYTHING TO ORGANIC. SO I WENT TO MEIJER THE OTHER DAY TOO FIND SOME ORGANIC MEAT. THEY DON'T CARRY IT ANYMORE AND I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. BUT THEY HAVE ORGANIC EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. AND IT'S ALL MEIJER BRAND WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN REGULAR FOOD AND THAT MADE ME HAPPY. I CAN EAT AN ORGANIC LIFESTYLE AND SAVE MONEY AT THE SAME TIME.
SO YESTERDAY DONNY SAID HE WANTED TO HAVE SOME CHICKEN FOR DINNER. I WAS THINKING OF THOSE FAT BIRDS AND HOW I DIDN'T WANT TO SWALLOW THAT CRAP TO ONLY MAKE ME FATTER. SO I DROVE TO WHOLE FOODS YESTERDAY AND BOUGHT CHICKEN, HAMBURGERS, AND GROUND BEEF. WE HAD ORGANIC CHICKEN, POTATOS, MAC N CHEESE, AND WE HAD ORGANIC PUDDING FOR DESSERT. EVERYTHING WAS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AND I WAS SO SHOCKED. THE GROUND BEEF WAS 3.99 A POUND WHICH WAS NORMAL. AND I PAID 10 DOLLARS FOR CHICKEN THAT WE CAN EAT FOR TWO DINNERS MAYBE THREE. I WAS SO EXCITED I EVEN BOUGHT OLIVIA ORGANIC CHICKEN TENDERS FOR LUNCH AND THEY ARE SO GOOD. I FOUND THAT KROGER HAS THE BEST PRICED ORGANIC MILK. WE WENT ORGANIC AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID. TONIGHT WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ORGANIC HAMBURGERS, FRIES, AND VEGGGIES. DONNY IS GOING TO HATE THIS BECAUSE HE LOVES EATING FAST FOOD. HE CAN DO IT BUT I'N DONE WITH THAT.

backing up your photos

okay so i thought that i was doing great, taking precautions, and being a to do mommy by saving all of olivia's pictures on cds. OF HER WHOLE LIFE...EVERY MEMORY AND VIDEO OF IMPORTANT MILDSTONES. well last night i wanted to show her what we are going to do around Easter time this year for activities. so i put the cd in the computer but it does not load all the way because it's scratched. and it only has like 2 scratches on it...until i go on youtube to see how to fix it and made it worse by putting toothpaste on it. MAN WAS I STUPID. and then donny was screwing around and broke one of her 18 months cd's. i think i went crazy for like five minutes on him. now that's some of her memories and videos gone forever. so i am uploading all of her pictures to an online album. so if you are reading this i think it would be smart to do the same. it's wonderful to be able to use technology and have kids these days. and i am lucky that i can do it now when she is only two 1/2 and is not going to take that long. (i say that now) i just spent 2 hours organizing all the photos that are not on cd's because i got lazy after she was 2 years old. i stopped documenting everything. that's when i decided to make olivia's blog so i didn't have to sift through albums because she is going to have thousands. i can document all of my favorite moments and her most important mildstones in her blog. the bad thing right now too is my camera broke on Christmas day and i have been using my mother-in-laws camera for everything. but i am giving that back tomorrow. i guess i have to use my old camera until i can get a new one. it's so busted but every little bit helps. the only bad thing about that is i can't make videos because it won't take any. i'm going to start using her kid camera that she got for Christmas last year because i can photo shop videos that i take and pictures to make them look better. and a bad thing about that is there is no sound. so this is where my creativity takes over and i add music with the videos. i better get a new camera and fast too. okay this is a book so i am going to end it.
