calling animal control today

Yesterday donny and I were at his parents house just hanging out. Right before we were leaving we heard his niece say that the raccoons were sticking their heads out of the hole in a roof next door to their house. So we all look out of the window in the kitchen to find two little babies looking out. We saw an adult raccoon last year and called animal control but they gave some crappy excuse of why they were not going to do anything about the animal. So as we were watching the babies and all of a sudden more kept coming out of the hole. Finally EIGHT babies crawled out of the roof and climbed on top house. HOLY CRAP!!! That is beyond crazy, so I told Donny last night that he needs to call pest control right away. This is going to be a big problem when they get bigger, raccoons can become very dangerous animals. They can get rabies for one and they can run up to 15 miles per hour. I am worried about Donny's nieces and nephew not to mention Olivia. Here are a couple of pictures I took of Donny and his dad shooting at the BABIES :( When they came back in the house Olivia says, "Papa please don't shoot the babies... please don't shoot the babies".

Looking at the babies in the tree.

Donny looking like Sarah Palin and a retarted Tea Party HICK!!! LOL

They came out of the hole right above the window, on the upper left corner.

the tooth fairy

today olivia got her teeth cleaned by the tooth fairy. it's mandatory for her to get a cleaning within a year before starting preschool. she is going to my sister angie's preschool which is awesome whenever she feels lonely. it's just three hours a day though just to get her started. i was against her going to preschool at first. but she is so smart i would be taking away from her learning experience. at first i wanted to keep her home with me and let her go when she turned four. but when she hit her terrible two's i changed my mind. her father is still on the fence with this one he thinks she is too little to leave me. but i know she is ready. she is the only child and her social skills are not where they need to be.
we were going to take her to the dentist and have her teeth cleaned, but her school had a big fair and they were doing it for free. it's mandatory to get a cleaning within a year before school starts. she was so excited and all she talked about was going to the dentist before we got there. when we got to the school she was seen right away. i was stuck with filling out paperwork while donny watched her and talked to her. when she started cleaning her teeth i started taking pictures like i was the paparazzi. the lady was so nice... olivia was enjoying every moment of it, she even got a magic wand. and at the end she got a sticker which was even better. she went to my sister's classroom and played around for a bit while the other kids were listening to a story. she played outside for a couple of minutes and when i told her it was time to go she threw a shovel out of the sandbox and started screaming. great huh???

was a nice warm day today

olivia and i really didn't do too much today. we got a good walk in and i let her eat ice cream outside. the other day when it was freezing out the ice cream truck came so she got a couple of things and she finally finished them off today. my biggest obstacle after having her is trying to keep my cool and not letting the little things bother me so much. so today was a good day. i am trying to find things for her to do because she has so much energy. so she will be in tumbling and ballet class as soon as some new spots open for her. she also goes to story time at our local library. i didn't realize being a mother would be so lonely and it's so much fun when you have a buddy to get through the tough days. i told my hubby that i want to find another mother to do play dates with and go shopping with. i think she would have to be a stay-at-home mother to make sure our schedules didn't clash. there are a couple of people close to me that are prego so i am hoping that one of them could be my new BFF. i guess i will see what happens. i want olivia to have a little buddy to hang out with so she learns how to be more social. okay this is boring so until next time i guess.

WENT TO WHOLE FOODS YESTERDAY

I WATCHED OPRAH THURSDAY ABOUT FOOD INC AND THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND HOW THEY ARE PUTTING ALL KINDS OF CHEMICALS IN OUR FOOD THAT ARE BAD FOR US. THE THING THAT GOT MY ATTENTION WAS THE WAY THIS FARM'S LIVING CONDITIONS FOR THESE CHICKENS. AND THIS IS WHAT I SAW WHEN I LOOK AT SOME ALOT OF AMERICANS. THESE BIRDS WERE SO FAT THEY JUST LAID THERE WHILE FARMERS INJECTED THEM WITH ALL KINDS OF STUFF TO MAKE THEM FATTER. NO WONDER WHY AMERICANS ARE SO FAT. LOOK AT WHAT GOES IN THE FOOD. AND ALL THE ANIMALS THAT WE EAT ARE BEING MASSED PRODUCED TO BECOME BIGGER AND FATTER FASTER AND FASTER. SO WHEN I SAW THAT I SAID ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH. AND THEN ALICIA SILVERSTONE CAME ON AND TALKED ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL HER BODY AND SKIN WAS FROM CHANGING THE WAY SHE ATE. AND WHAT MADE ME WANT TO CHANGE WAS THE WAY SHE EMPHASIZED THAT WE CAN START SLOWLY AND MAKE LITTLE CHANGES ON GOING ORGANIC. SO AFTER THAT SHOW I WAS DETERMINED TO CHANGE THE WAY MY FAMILY EATS. MY HUBBY AND I WERE JUST ABOUT TO GO ON WEIGHT WATCHERS TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS. NO WONDER WE HAVE MORE WEIGHT THAN WE WOULD LIKE TO. WE EAT SO HORRIBLY. AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE TO CHANGE EVERYTHING TO ORGANIC. SO I WENT TO MEIJER THE OTHER DAY TOO FIND SOME ORGANIC MEAT. THEY DON'T CARRY IT ANYMORE AND I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. BUT THEY HAVE ORGANIC EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. AND IT'S ALL MEIJER BRAND WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN REGULAR FOOD AND THAT MADE ME HAPPY. I CAN EAT AN ORGANIC LIFESTYLE AND SAVE MONEY AT THE SAME TIME.
SO YESTERDAY DONNY SAID HE WANTED TO HAVE SOME CHICKEN FOR DINNER. I WAS THINKING OF THOSE FAT BIRDS AND HOW I DIDN'T WANT TO SWALLOW THAT CRAP TO ONLY MAKE ME FATTER. SO I DROVE TO WHOLE FOODS YESTERDAY AND BOUGHT CHICKEN, HAMBURGERS, AND GROUND BEEF. WE HAD ORGANIC CHICKEN, POTATOS, MAC N CHEESE, AND WE HAD ORGANIC PUDDING FOR DESSERT. EVERYTHING WAS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AND I WAS SO SHOCKED. THE GROUND BEEF WAS 3.99 A POUND WHICH WAS NORMAL. AND I PAID 10 DOLLARS FOR CHICKEN THAT WE CAN EAT FOR TWO DINNERS MAYBE THREE. I WAS SO EXCITED I EVEN BOUGHT OLIVIA ORGANIC CHICKEN TENDERS FOR LUNCH AND THEY ARE SO GOOD. I FOUND THAT KROGER HAS THE BEST PRICED ORGANIC MILK. WE WENT ORGANIC AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID. TONIGHT WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ORGANIC HAMBURGERS, FRIES, AND VEGGGIES. DONNY IS GOING TO HATE THIS BECAUSE HE LOVES EATING FAST FOOD. HE CAN DO IT BUT I'N DONE WITH THAT.

backing up your photos

okay so i thought that i was doing great, taking precautions, and being a to do mommy by saving all of olivia's pictures on cds. OF HER WHOLE LIFE...EVERY MEMORY AND VIDEO OF IMPORTANT MILDSTONES. well last night i wanted to show her what we are going to do around Easter time this year for activities. so i put the cd in the computer but it does not load all the way because it's scratched. and it only has like 2 scratches on it...until i go on youtube to see how to fix it and made it worse by putting toothpaste on it. MAN WAS I STUPID. and then donny was screwing around and broke one of her 18 months cd's. i think i went crazy for like five minutes on him. now that's some of her memories and videos gone forever. so i am uploading all of her pictures to an online album. so if you are reading this i think it would be smart to do the same. it's wonderful to be able to use technology and have kids these days. and i am lucky that i can do it now when she is only two 1/2 and is not going to take that long. (i say that now) i just spent 2 hours organizing all the photos that are not on cd's because i got lazy after she was 2 years old. i stopped documenting everything. that's when i decided to make olivia's blog so i didn't have to sift through albums because she is going to have thousands. i can document all of my favorite moments and her most important mildstones in her blog. the bad thing right now too is my camera broke on Christmas day and i have been using my mother-in-laws camera for everything. but i am giving that back tomorrow. i guess i have to use my old camera until i can get a new one. it's so busted but every little bit helps. the only bad thing about that is i can't make videos because it won't take any. i'm going to start using her kid camera that she got for Christmas last year because i can photo shop videos that i take and pictures to make them look better. and a bad thing about that is there is no sound. so this is where my creativity takes over and i add music with the videos. i better get a new camera and fast too. okay this is a book so i am going to end it.

valentines day

it was really sweet, yesterday while olivia was taking her nap donny surprised me. we were sitting on the couch and i was half asleep watching t.v. while he was on the computer. he warmed up the car and told me that i could go get my nails done. i thought that was really sweet because i was not expecting anything. i was just enjoying our little quiet time together. i told him that i like being treated like a princess. i like it when he makes me feel like i am number one. i am a big brat and he always gives me everything that i want. so he is getting a new phone for valentines day because i kind of ruined his other one. because he let me use his phone on the way to my moms. and i forgot to give it back to him and left it on my lap. i forgot it was there and when i got out of the car it hit the snow and didn't make any noise. we were dropping olivia off for a couple of hours because it was donny's birthday. well later that night he asked me where his phone was. i called my parents to see if i left it over their house and my dad told me that he found it in the driveway and marvin and ang ran it over when they left my parents. so i drive over to get the phone and the phone protector was totally smashed but the phone was working. i gave it to donny and he told me that the phone was off track which really sucks because i kind of eat up phones. and i was hoping that is was okay so i wouldn't have to hear donny talk about my little problem. i think i went through 3 phones last year. it's because i have to get olivia out of the car, i have to grab the diaper bag, and i have to get my purse. it always seems like i have so much to carry and then i am very forgetful. i just need to get a really big purse to put a change of clothes for olivia in case she has an accident. since she is potty trained i don't need a diaper bag anymore...i hate that thing. i want a really big coach bad. i have always been the type of mother that didn't want to strut around with a big stupid bag that had bears or clowns on it. i want to look normal as possible and not look like a frumpy poo. it's so easy to get into that life style being a mother. well that's it for now. i just want to write about donny being a sweetheart.

PRESCHOOL

i'm just sitting here waiting for olivia to wake up. i have not written in a while because i don't want to write all the bad things that are going on in my life. actually i don't have it in me to write when i am upset because of the things that i would say. i still have not heard anything else on me getting into the dental program. i was hoping to start classes this month but it does not look like that is going to happen. so i guess that is it for now with that.
the other day i took olivia to registure for preschool. i didn't want her to go to school until she was 4 years old. but i don't have the greatest learning enviornment for her to learn in and grow at the moment. it's too cold for our daily walks since it's the winter. and all she does is watch too much t.v. i feel like a horrible parent because all she wants to do is play and be active. but with everything that is going on with donny taking the car everyday and driving kids back and forth to school is getting old really quick. lets see it's february and he started in september which equals out to be five months. i am lost for words at the moment. and nothing changes everyday. i think it's affecting olivia and she is the most important person in this whole situation. and she is not getting a great upbringing with her schedule. all she does is watch t.v. all day and doesn't get to play. and that's why i quite my job was for her not to sit in a daycare all day doing nothing. so i have been looking into going back to work which is why i think it's time for preschool. she can be with other children her age, have the chance to be active, and learn at the same time. she is a very smart child and from day one too. she is already potty trained, she knows the alaphabet, and she can count. if i tell her something once she remembers it. so i know i am not a very good parent making her stay in a small apartment everyday all day watching t.v. that is my life at the moment. i am not going to mention anything about my other half because it's not neccessary at this point. all i can say now is that i have to make a change for the better for olivia.
okay back to preschool...i signed her up to go to preschool where my sister works. i went to my sister's classroom and the children were drawing pictures so she invited olivia to join in on the fun. she really thought she was in school. after that she joined the children in going to the gym. she had a blast running around, going down the slide, and playing basketball. it tore me up inside to see her having so much fun when i knew she would have to stay in all day the next day. that is no life at all for a two year old. she asked me today when she was going back to school. all she talks about is going to school. she can't go to school until the fall. i am going back to work to fix my situation. i feel that if i don't i am going to wake up 5 years from now in hell. i want to be the person i was three years ago. i want to be the positive thriving person that never walked around depressed and mad as hell. i am done waiting and waiting for change that never will happen until i change it.
